Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to explore El Timbo’s work. This page describes the accessibility features and known limitations of the archive.

Using the archive

You can navigate links and controls with a keyboard. A “Skip to content” link appears when focused. In the artwork viewer, use the Previous and Next buttons or the left and right arrow keys; press Escape to close it. The galleries can be searched by title. Audio and video playback is controlled by the visitor.

Known limitations

• Many poems and lyrics are preserved as scans or PDFs. Complete accessible text transcriptions are not yet available.
• Some artwork titles are descriptive file names; comprehensive descriptions of the visual content are not yet available.
• The archive’s recordings do not currently have complete captions or transcripts.
• Automatic translations may contain errors, particularly in poetry and song titles.

The website has not been certified as fully conforming to WCAG 2.2 AA. These limitations are recorded so visitors can make an informed choice and request help.
